Whether you are replacing a 25-year-old furnace or putting in your first heat pump, the install matters as much as the equipment. A high-efficiency furnace installed wrong runs at low-efficiency. We do the install part right.
Heat pumps make a lot of sense in San Diego. Mild winters mean a properly sized heat pump heats and cools your house off the same outdoor unit, and the federal tax credit covers up to $2,000 of the install. We install Bosch, Mitsubishi, Carrier, and Trane heat pumps. We will tell you whether a heat pump is the right call for your specific house, or whether a traditional gas furnace is the better bet.
For gas furnaces, we install Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, and Rheem. Every install includes a new condensate trap, properly sized gas line, and a manual gas-leak test before commissioning. We pull the permit when one is required and handle the inspection ourselves so you do not have to.
Wall heaters and floor furnaces are common in older San Diego homes. We replace them with code-compliant modern units, vented properly, and certified safe. If your wall heater is older than 1995, ask us to take a look during your estimate. There are usually rebates available to upgrade.
